Trio - Running

Drawing inspiration from the diverse expressions of running, the piece explores its various forms – from crawling, chasing to racing and beyond. With dynamic floor work and House dance elements, dancers embody the essence of motion in a simple yet captivating concept.

Educational Battle: Powwow Meet Street Dance

Umami represents 4 major street dance styles: Popping, House, HipHop, Breaking.

This performance took place on November 6, 2025, in the Kirkpatrick Chapel at Rutgers University. Tekcno Powwow Jr.2: To the Second Power is a performance made in conjunction with the Zimmerli Art Museum's groundbreaking exhibition, Indigenous Identities: Here, Now & Always.

Teaching Korean Traditional Dance to Public

Queensboro Dance Festival 2024. Director Guang is teaching a free outdoor dance workshop in Athens Square, Queens.

Umami has extensive experience in teaching various workshops from non-dancer to professional.

Site-specific Interactive Work - Mirror

The interactive set Mirror, consisting of two parts, was performed at Chashama's annual fundraiser 2024 and invited the audience to explore imagination and reflect on their behavior.

Debut Set - 2022

This is Umami debut set in 2022. It comes with 3 course:

Shogeki - Music from Attack on Titan

Shogeki piece is inspired by the animation Attack on Titan. The piece explores the human nature, which is ugly and beautiful at the same time. You will se lots of metaphors to reflect our human history and what's still happening all the time.
